Sustain Champlain 60 Second Clip: Food & Water

Concept: We are going to create an identity that Champlain can relate to and remeber as being a part of this community. Chauncy, the school mascot is going to be out Sustain Champlain "Celebrator" ( to ensure that there is no finger-wagging). Chauncy will be a recognizer and celebrator of positive behaviors that will improve our sustainbale cmapus.



Roles:

Chauncy- played by each Alex, Bethany, and Jaime (when one is not a "student" actor, they take this role)

Student- played by each Alex, Bethany, and Jaime (Showing diversity and different situations)

Faculty- played by Rob Willliams? (showing diversity of faculty participating)



Script (60 Seconds):

Jaime gathering plates of food in her arms, but then realizes that she can only hold two at a time and walks to her table and comments to Bethany:

"I would like to have one of everything, the food is so good here!"

Bethany: "That is why you aren't using a tray, here at Champlain we have a trayless dining hall, limiting you to get only what you can eat, and if you need more, you can always go and get it!

Jaime: "Ahh...that makes sense, I don't know if i could eat more than wha I have, it all just looks so good!"

Jaime & Bethany: (sitting and finishing meals at the dining hall, get up to put dishes on belt, but then remeber and go back to put their food scraps in the compost bin!)



Chauncy: High-fives and does small dance to celebrate their actions.

VO: "Remeber! If you've got food scraps, put them in the compost bins and they'll be turned back in to soil!"



Switch to Short clip of-



Jaime & Bethany: Planting on hands and knees in the garden



Bethany: Good thing we compsted our food last winter in the dining hall, look at this lucious soil we have now!

Jaime: Winks at camera and gives a big thumbs up!



Alex: In her dorm she prepares to go into the shower, gathers towel and soaps.
Once, in the shower room she sets her cooking timer to 7 minutes and gets into the shower.

Text on screen: 7 minutes later....

"DING"

Alex: hops out of the shower and checks her timer and does a victory "Yesssss!"

Chauncy: Runs to her, catching her in the hallway on her way back to her room, and high fives her, celebrating her short shower to save water!

VO: Yes, we have a big water source (you know..that lake at the bottom of the hill...) but fresh water is one of the worlds most precious resources. Let's use it carefully!

Script 1: FEED IN 60 SECONDS

Alex: Hey fellow units! Come catch some low grav with me at the Ricochet Lounge. Where the slamsuits are killer and the juice is always floating. Come before the sun gets set and you'll get Richochet Lounge bargain banners all night. You don't want to miss it.

Bethany: Hey, Calista here...last time I was at the lounge it was meg cheap and meg brag. I met my boyfriend there last weekend, and we're still together so...

Jaime: Yea. The boys are meg hott so If you're looking for someone hott to meet, fly up to the moon, but bring your crash helmets unettes...some of the boys slam way hard.

Bethany: Oh... and no riot wear. That's so last weekend.

Alex: Just follow the mass of people when you get to the moon. The lounge is between the Wheatherbe and Crotch and the Hault and Buy. Meg close to the hotel, too.

Jaime: "GET YOUR INFLATABLE SWEATERS WHILE THEY LAST AT BIG Z, WE'LL ONLY HAVE THEM FOR THE NEXT 5 MINUTES! IMMEDIATE SHIPPING AVAILABLE..."

Bethany: Sorry... my feed is on overload with banner bargains right now, gotta go! See you tonight at Ricochet!
